The mechanism of action of nitenpyram
Nitenpyram mainly acts on the nervous system of insects. It has a nerve-blocking effect on the synaptic receptors of pests. After spontaneous discharge, the diaphragm gap is enlarged, and finally the stimulation of the synaptic diaphragm is reduced. As a result, the stimulation of the nerve axon synaptic diaphragm potential channel disappears, and the pest paralysis and death.
What insects does nitenpyram kill?
Nitenpyram is another new product developed after imidacloprid and acetamiprid. It has excellent systemic, osmotic effect, broad insecticidal spectrum, and is safe and non-phytotoxic. It is a replacement product for the prevention and control of piercing and sucking mouthparts pests such as whitefly, aphids, psyllids, leafhoppers, and thrips.
